White Garment

White Garment
We were born as a sign of purity,
Wrapped in white swaddling cloths we opened our eyes.
As the purest beings in this world,
We lay within white fabric, innocent and bright.
Years passed, and we reached the season of happiness,
A radiant union from every girl’s dream.
The bridal dress returns to its pure origin,
A shining symbol at the doorway of joy.
Yet the garment itself is not the true meaning —
The true purity is the whiteness of the heart in every age.
If the soul is clean and free from sin,
That, O human, is the most beautiful attire of all.
Shine brightly even within the darkness,
Let no stain ever touch honor and dignity.
O hearts dressed in white, walk bravely onward,
For neither gold nor silver can compare to you.
