If the girl had not cried

If the Girl Had Not Cried,
the Rain Would Have Ceased
If the girl had not cried,
the rain would have stopped.
If only I could reach my destination.
As though the secrets of my heart were pouring down, clear and pure,
These tears give strength to the flower of my longing.
In harmony with the rain, softly, gently falling,
Tears moisten her eyelashes.
Her head is bowed, as if from a troubling dream,
Telling her bracelets what she has witnessed.
Sorrows surge again and again.
Answer me, O sky, what kind of grief is this?
Did you listen to her, or was it by your command
That this beautiful girl wept so easily?
The world gazes gloomily — a weary scene.
If only she knew I shared her pain.
Yet that golden sun will shine again,
And hearts will yearn to see smiling faces.
If the girl had not cried,
the rain would have stopped…
